AptarGroup Wins $4.8 Million US Government Contract

AptarGroup (ATR) said Tuesday it received a contract from the US Federal Government to advance the development of its ActivShield technology, which sterilizes medical devices and instruments without the need for a power source.

The contract is for five years and is valued at about $4.8 million, according to the company.

Shares of AptarGroup were up 1.2% in recent after-hours activity.
