Kudan, Taiwan's NexAIoT to Debut AI-Powered NexMOV-2 AMR at Tokyo Robotics Event

Kudan (TYO:4425), a developer of visual perception technology, launched the NexMOV-2, an autonomous mobile robot powered by AI, in collaboration with Taiwan-based NexAIoT, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

NexMOV-2, which incorporates Kudan's Visual SLAM technology, will be showcased at the Japan Robot Week 2024 to show its advanced navigation and cost-saving capabilities for industries such as logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare.

The NexMOV-2 eliminates the need for 2D-LiDAR systems, relying solely on Kudan's camera-based Visual SLAM for real-time mapping and navigation, reducing production costs by up to 30%.
