Asukanet Books 23 Million Yen Loss in Fiscal Q1; Shares Down 6%
Asukanet (TYO:2438), specializing in digital imaging and related services, reported a loss of 23 million yen attributable to owners of the parent for the three months ended July 31, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The company recorded a basic loss per share of 1.42 yen for the period. Net sales totaled 1.71 billion yen.
Asukanet did not provide year-ago figures.
For the fiscal year ending April 30, 2025, Asukanet forecasts attributable profit to reach 324 million yen, up 51.4% from a year earlier, with EPS projected at 19.73 yen. Full-year net sales are expected to rise 9.7% year on year to 7.72 billion yen.
Dividends are forecasted at 7 yen per share for both the interim and year-end periods, unchanged from the previous year.
Shares of the company were down almost 6% in recent trade.
