SoftBank Repurchases 15.8 Million Shares for 126.9 Billion Yen in August

SoftBank Group (TYO:9984) repurchased 15.8 million of its shares in August, totaling 126.87 billion yen, under its ongoing share buyback program authorized by the board on Aug. 7, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The repurchase was conducted between Aug. 8 and Aug. 30. The company is authorized to buy back up to 100 million shares or a total value of 500 billion yen through August 2025.
