Nippo Unveils Medium-Term Plan, ESG Initiatives
Nippo (TYO:9913) has launched its medium-term management plan for the 2022-2028 period, according to a Wednesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The plan is structured in three phases. The first phase (2022-2025) is dedicated to stabilizing the company's financial base while developing new business models.
The second phase (2025-2028) aims to actively promote the sales of newly developed products and materials. The final phase, starting in 2028, will focus on expanding business areas and achieving higher growth in scale and earnings.
Key elements of the plan include significant initiatives in product development and market expansion.
Nippo is collaborating with the Nagoya Institute of Technology to develop the "world's first" defogger pattern-molded plastic product, which automates liquid transport with fine patterns.
Additionally, the company is expanding its product lineup in the hydrogen energy sector.
Shares of the company were up 2% in recent trade.
