The Monogatari Restaurant Sales Jump Nearly 15% On Year in August
The Monogatari (TYO:3097) restaurants, including domestic-managed and franchise restaurants, posted a year-on-year sales increase of 14.8% in August, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
The number of customers grew 14.5% annually while the number of restaurants rose to 700 from 695 in July.
The company's domestic directly managed restaurants saw net sales grow 17.2% year on year, while customers increased by 17.7% in August. The number of restaurants was higher at 455 from 451 in July.
