GDS-SW Surges Over 6% Following Earnings Release, H1 Gross Profit Reaches 1.334 Billion Yuan with 22.71% YoY Growth

GDS-SW (09698) opened sharply higher by over 7% following its earnings announcement. As of press time, the stock was trading up 7.22% at HK$33.32, with turnover reaching HK$79.54 million.

GDS Holdings Ltd released its financial results for the first half of 2025, reporting net revenue of approximately 5.623 billion yuan, representing a 12.2% year-over-year increase. Gross profit reached approximately 1.334 billion yuan, up 22.71% compared to the same period last year. Net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of GDS Holdings Ltd was approximately 664 million yuan, marking a turnaround from loss to profit year-over-year.

Notably, DayOne, an equity investment target of GDS Holdings Ltd, recently announced plans to construct a hyperscale data center in Lahti, Finland. The facility is expected to become operational in 2027, with total investment potentially reaching approximately 1.2 billion euros. The data center's potential total capacity is projected at 128 megawatts, with the first server cluster having a capacity of 50 megawatts.

Additionally, market sources indicate that the company is currently advancing Series C equity financing to support subsequent project construction and market expansion. During the earnings conference call, management stated that "equity financing first day performance exceeded expectations." It is understood that DayOne targets an initial public offering within 18 months.
