Century United Holdings Reports Unexplained Price and Volume Fluctuations

Century United Holdings (01959) has issued an announcement stating that the company's board of directors has noted recent abnormal fluctuations in the trading price and volume of the company's shares. After making all reasonable inquiries relevant to the company under the circumstances, the board confirmed that it is not aware of (1) any reasons causing such fluctuations in the trading price and volume of the company's shares; (2) any information that must be announced to avoid a false market in the company's securities; or (3) any inside information that must be disclosed under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong). Furthermore, the board has noted market speculation that the company has entered into a memorandum of understanding with another company concerning strategic investments in areas such as major health and AI technology. The board hereby clarifies that the company has not entered into any such related memorandum of understanding. The board also confirms that the group's business operations remain normal, and there have been no significant changes in the group's business operations or financial condition.
