SINOHYTEC (02402) surged more than 7% again, gaining 5.82% to HK$33.82 by the time of writing, with a trading volume of HK$67.0959 million.
The catalyst behind the rally stems from Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation's debut of the world's first liquid hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck equipped with a 260kW high-power fuel cell system at the recently opened 2025 Tokyo Motor Show. Dubbed the "new benchmark for zero-emission heavy trucks," this model has drawn significant attention for its cutting-edge liquid hydrogen technology and high-performance fuel cell system, marking a major milestone in Japan's commercial vehicle hydrogen transition.
Notably, SINOHYTEC supplied the breakthrough 260kW liquid hydrogen fuel cell system, a critical technological advancement. The system, developed based on SINOHYTEC's proprietary graphite bipolar plate stack, achieves a remarkably low hydrogen supply pressure of 5 bar while delivering 260kW high-performance power output. It balances high integration, single-system efficiency, and low hydrogen consumption, meeting the full-scenario power demands of heavy trucks—including hill climbing, overtaking, high-altitude operations, and heavy-load conditions—providing a reliable zero-emission technical pathway for Japan's hydrogen-powered heavy truck market.
