BAIC Motor (1958) Releases 2025 Second Extraordinary General Meeting Poll Results

BAIC Motor Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 1958) convened its 2025 second extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 22 October 2025 in Beijing. On the meeting date, 3,013,669,621 shares with voting rights were represented. The total number of issued shares is 8,015,338,182, of which BAIC Group holds approximately 46.90% and abstained from voting on certain connected transaction resolutions due to its material interests.

All resolutions, including the renewal of continuing connected transactions with BAIC Group and the Financial Services Framework Agreement, were passed as ordinary resolutions. The resolutions cover purchases and sales of products and services as well as the renewal of a trademark licensing framework. Votes in favor exceeded half of the shares carrying voting rights, meeting approval requirements under the relevant regulations.

No additional proposals were brought forward by shareholders. The EGM was held in accordance with the Company Law of the People’s Republic of China, and on-site voting results were scrutinized by appointed representatives, ensuring a compliant, transparent process under the company’s articles of association.
