On February 25, 2026, Suzhou Basecare Medical Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 2170) obtained a Class III medical device registration certificate (No. Guo Xie Zhu Jin 20263180071) from the National Medical Products Administration of China for its Geri Medium, part of the Gems series embryo culture medium. The product had previously secured CE, FDA, and TGA certifications.

Geri Medium integrates technology from the in vitro fertilization center of Sydney. Combined with the Geri Wet Time-Lapse incubator and AI embryo assessment system, it is designed to address oxidative stress and maintain a stable osmotic pressure environment, particularly benefiting older fertility patients. Its “Triple Antioxidant Protection System,” early addition of human serum albumin, and extended stability have demonstrated effectiveness in improving high-quality blastocyst and clinical pregnancy rates.

The transition from technology introduction to localized production places the company at the forefront of domestic high-end assisted reproductive consumables. It is noted for being the first enterprise in China to receive FDA, CE, TGA, and NMPA certifications in this category. The company’s core PGT technology and consumables supply serve the majority of licensed PGT institutions nationwide, backed by dozens of localized laboratories.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares.
