According to a recent report from Founder Securities, the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) will take place at the Hangzhou International Expo Center from October 19 to 25, 2025. During this event, ROBOSENSE (02498) will officially unveil its latest product in the Active Camera series, the AC2. The company's vehicle-mounted business stands to benefit significantly from the advancements in intelligent driving equality, while the broader robotics field is set to expand rapidly. The subsequent introduction of incremental components such as the Active Camera and dexterous hands will drive growth across both the vehicle and robotics sectors, supporting the company’s overall scale increase.

The firm predicts that the company's revenue for 2025-2027 will reach 2.5 billion, 3.42 billion, and 4.58 billion yuan, respectively, maintaining a "recommendation" rating. The report highlights that the AC2 is an integrated super sensor system that combines dToF laser radar technology, dual RGB camera technology, and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for motion information compensation. This product continues the development philosophy of ROBOSENSE, offering comprehensive services from hardware to software within a complete development ecosystem, providing a one-stop solution for various 3D application scenarios from hardware, perception algorithms, to development processes.

Compared to the AC1 series, the AC2 series has significantly reduced dimensions, making it comparable to the commonly used dual-vision sensors, while providing millimeter-level ranging accuracy and robust RGBD data. This enables its embedding in various visual sensor applications, including the heads of robotic dogs, end-effectors of robotic arms, and humanoid robots. ROBOSENSE's self-developed SPAD-SoC chip was initiated in 2018, with a dedicated chip research team formed in 2020. The SPAD-SoC was launched in 2022 and has started to be gradually applied in solid-state radars like the E1, with continuous iterations to achieve improved detection performance and power consumption.

Compared to the AC1 product, the AC2 boasts upgrades in the SPAD chip, integrating an AI-ready algorithm software stack and a complete solution, thus forming a closed loop of "chip solution-ecosystem-product," enabling the creation and launch of appropriate products for customers across various scenarios. The firm points out that the AC series products are suitable for automotive, robotics, consumer electronics, and other applications, with a potential second growth curve for incremental parts in robotics. Currently, Huawei's cabin LIDAR Limera products have been adopted in vehicles such as the Aion M7 and SAIC-GM-Wuling models, sharing underlying technology with ROBOSENSE's AC products. Future technologies may be applicable across automotive, robotics, and consumer electronics fields. The company has fully integrated with NVIDIA's DRIVE, Jetson, and Omniverse ecosystems to build visual entry points for high compatibility in collaboration. Additionally, the company is also positioning itself in the dexterous hand segment with multiple robotic components, which are expected to gradually ramp up.
