Recently, reports have been received from the public indicating that criminal elements have been impersonating the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, falsely claiming to engage in agricultural and rural modernization investment projects. These fraudsters are conducting illegal fundraising activities targeting the public through online channels such as the so-called "China Sannong" APP and offline recruitment methods. During these schemes, they forge Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs documents, counterfeit official seals, and impersonate ministry staff to gain public trust, promising regular dividends or guaranteed returns to defraud victims of their money.
In response, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issues the following risk alert to the public: The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has never participated in or promoted investment-related activities such as the "China Sannong" APP through official documents or personnel deployment. The relevant documents and seals are not officially issued by our ministry or legitimately used seals. The "China Sannong" APP, its related websites, and associated personnel have no connection whatsoever with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. We urge the public to remain vigilant, strengthen discernment, and guard against being deceived.
Currently, rural revitalization has attracted significant social attention, and some criminals are taking advantage of this to implement fraud and other illegal activities. The public should be aware that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will not borrow or requisition funds from the public, will not engage in investment and financial management activities targeting the public, and will not induce public participation in various investment and financial activities through issuing documents or dispatching personnel.
