To implement the spirit of the Central Financial Work Conference and enhance the role of financial services in promoting high-quality development of the silver economy, the Shanghai Banking Association, under the guidance of the Shanghai Financial Labor Union, organized the 2025 Pension Financial Services Competition from June to September. The competition recognized outstanding cases and institutions contributing to an elderly-friendly society with exemplary aging-adapted services. Selected cases are being highlighted to inspire industry-wide collaboration, amplify the social impact of pension financial services, and share best practices, ensuring financial warmth reaches more seniors and advancing Shanghai’s high-quality pension finance development.

**Case Study: "Health-Care-Security" Special Pension Finance Outlets** Bank branches naturally serve as physical hubs connecting elderly clients, communities, and pension financial/non-financial services. China Construction Bank Corporation (建设银行) adheres to a people-centered approach, addressing key pension challenges by transforming branches in elderly-dense communities into "Health-Care-Security" outlets since 2024. These outlets strengthen the "community + home + institution" linkage, focusing on aging-adapted services, pension products, and care services for both current and future retirees. Through four pillars—product benefits, elderly-friendly services, pension investment education, and a micro-ecosystem—CCB has enhanced its pension financial services, establishing 13 such outlets in Shanghai.

**Highlights:** 1. **Warm Aging-Adapted Services**: Each outlet features a dedicated pension service zone equipped with AED devices, seated STMs, and mobile form-filling stations. Regular anti-fraud campaigns and home visits for mobility-impaired seniors are offered. Four branches—Minhang Southern Mall, Nanhui (New Area), Songjiang Temple Street, and Chongming—were recognized for barrier-free facility excellence. 2. **Stable Value-Added Products**: CCB Group offers low-volatility, dividend-paying products tailored for seniors, with exclusive quotas for these outlets. The "Pension Easy Loan" (Yang Yi Dai) addresses elderly clients’ credit needs. 3. **Investment Education & Team Strengthening**: Over 200 educational events were held in collaboration with local communities, leveraging pension financial planners’ expertise. Jing’an Yanchang Road Branch partnered with Jing’an Senior University to integrate CCB’s pension products into curricula, boosting brand influence. 4. **Ecosystem & Enhanced Experience**: Outlets serve as 15-minute community service hubs. Jing’an Yanchang Road Branch pioneered a "pension + inclusivity" model, issuing Shanghai’s first inclusive loan to a senior care center. It also showcased aging-adaptive rental equipment and granted the first pension service operating loan in Shanghai. Nanhui Branch launched the "CCB Trust - Secure Care - Shanghai Lingang Pension Charity Trust" to fund cultural activities for seniors.

**Recognition**: - Jing’an Yanchang Road’s "Smart Finance Workshop" brand won acclaim from elderly clients. - Hongkou Liangcheng Branch received the 2024 "Warm Sunlight" Elderly Service Award. - Nanhui Branch was named a national model for barrier-free design. - Changning Beixinjing Branch was honored as a "Shanghai Veterans Service Station."

**Impact**: CCB Shanghai Branch combines hardware upgrades with software enhancements and ecosystem development, integrating community resources, care institutions, and medical-wellness partnerships. Through tailored financial products, premium services, exclusive events, and a robust ecosystem, it elevates convenience and security for elderly clients. (This case won the 2025 Pension Financial Services Competition Grand Prize.)
