UNITY GP HLDGS (01539) has announced that on March 20, 2026, the company voluntarily entered into a high-performance computing service lease agreement with Multipolar. Under the terms of the agreement, the group will provide high-performance computing (GPU) services in Indonesia through trading. Multipolar Group will act as a distributor, ordering the services and reselling them to its end-users in Indonesia.
Multipolar is a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (stock code: MLPT) and is a leading provider of IT infrastructure, cloud services, hybrid data centers, data analytics, cybersecurity, and AI-driven solutions in Indonesia. The company collaborates with global institutions to promote digital transformation in Indonesia's healthcare, education, finance, and real estate sectors. Multipolar is a member of the Lippo Group in Indonesia.
According to the group’s interim report for the six months ended September 30, 2025, it has developed a business strategy to collaborate with AI data centers on energy-saving initiatives, given the high power consumption required to support high-performance computing. These efforts have provided the group with valuable insights and connections, revealing the significant potential and growth prospects in the AI computing market.
The group intends to provide the services through trading. The terms of the agreement were determined through fair negotiation and are based on normal commercial terms. During this period, the group has maintained discussions with NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCP) and an industry expert (collectively referred to as suppliers) with the aim of procuring the services from them and subsequently distributing them to Multipolar.
The group and Multipolar will also provide local assistance to suppliers on related matters, including recommendations for data center locations with adequate power supply and compliance with other applicable standards for hosting B300 systems. The group will provide the services to Multipolar without incurring any capital expenditure.
