On September 9th, ROBOSENSE (02498) officially commenced batch delivery of its flagship digital LiDAR product EMX to multiple automotive clients. This milestone marks that ROBOSENSE's next-generation automotive digital LiDAR platform - the EM platform - including EMX, EM4, and customized versions, has fully entered mass production phase. This advancement positions high-performance, high-reliability digital LiDAR as mainstream standard equipment for next-generation premium intelligent vehicles, delivering safer and more reliable driving experiences for consumers.

EMX serves as a "true 192-line" automotive main LiDAR targeting the L2 assisted driving market, while EM4 represents the industry's only mass-producible 500+ line digital LiDAR, supporting customization from 520 to 2160 lines for advanced autonomous driving scenarios. The comprehensive mass production of the EM platform consolidates ROBOSENSE's first-mover advantage and delivery capabilities in the digital LiDAR sector.

ROBOSENSE's technical barriers built through self-developed chips and fully digital architecture are transforming into stable, reliable mass production momentum, providing solid support for the further popularization of automotive intelligence technology and commercial operation of autonomous driving.

**Global Exclusivity in Mass Production with Up to 2160-Line Customization**

This year, based on breakthrough achievements in full-stack chipization and comprehensive digitalization, ROBOSENSE launched the EM platform dedicated to long-range LiDAR, introducing EM4 and EMX products in January and April respectively. Within less than six months of launch, the EM platform has secured design wins from 8 leading global OEMs across 45 vehicle models, demonstrating exceptional market recognition.

EMX has obtained design wins from multiple domestic and international automotive companies, including Geely Auto Group, FAW Hongqi, leading Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturers, one of Japan's top 3 automakers, and joint ventures established by Europe's largest automotive company in China. This includes exclusive supply agreements for up to 32 vehicle models from leading domestic new energy vehicle manufacturers.

EM4 has secured design wins from Geely Auto Group, SAIC IM Motors, global leading pure electric pickup brands, and joint ventures of leading European luxury automotive brands, among other domestic and international automotive companies. It is currently achieving mass production applications across multiple flagship vehicle models from various automakers.

Addressing the comprehensive popularization trend of L2 advanced assisted driving, EMX's "true 192-line" configuration represents the optimal performance solution for next-generation intelligent vehicles. EMX delivers high-definition point cloud output capability of up to 2.88 million points per second, 0.08°×0.1° global angular resolution, maximum detection range of 300 meters, highest frame rate of 20Hz, and high integration - making it currently the most compact automotive digital main LiDAR.

For L3 and L4 higher-level autonomous driving, high-line-count digital LiDAR becomes essential. EM4, as the industry's only mass-producible 500+ line digital LiDAR, adopts SPAD-SoC and VCSEL digital architecture, featuring 300m@10% ranging capability and 600-meter maximum range - currently the strongest ranging capability among automotive digital LiDAR products. This will provide robust perception support for autonomous driving systems, potentially increasing intelligent driving system response time by up to 70%.

Based on the high flexibility brought by comprehensive digitalization, the EM platform supports customizable design. EMX suits requirements below 500 lines, offering customizable solutions for 192, 256, 384 lines and more; EM4 addresses ultra-high-definition perception needs above 500 lines, providing customizable technical solutions for 520, 720, 1080, and even up to 2160 lines.

Currently, the EM platform forms a golden combination with ROBOSENSE's uniquely mass-producible all-solid-state digital LiDAR E1, comprehensively covering ADAS and Robotaxi markets, becoming the preferred choice for leading clients to create full-scenario perception solutions.

**Full-Stack Chip Self-Development Achieving Generational Leadership**

The EM platform's recognition from global automotive companies and Robotaxi firms stems from ROBOSENSE's long-term commitment and forward-looking deployment in technological innovation and chipization strategy. As early as 2017, ROBOSENSE dedicated itself to exploring chipization of core LiDAR technologies, establishing relevant teams. By 2024, the company has achieved full-chain chip self-development capabilities from laser emission, scanning control to signal reception and processing, obtaining AEC-Q100 automotive-grade reliability certification and building solid technical barriers.

The successful self-development and mass production of large-array SPAD-SoC chips is particularly crucial. This chip highly integrates reception systems and echo recognition functions, significantly simplifying system architecture, reducing power consumption, and better ensuring information integrity. Additionally, ROBOSENSE continuously iterates and develops self-developed chips, enabling LiDAR to follow a trajectory similar to Moore's Law, with continuously improving performance and optimizing costs.

This provides a powerful technical foundation for ROBOSENSE to establish generational advantages in the digital LiDAR field and achieve automotive-grade mass production and large-scale delivery ahead of competitors.

Currently, digitalization has become industry consensus for LiDAR. As E1, EM4, EMX and other platform products successively enter mass production delivery, ROBOSENSE continues to refresh "industry's only mass-producible" milestones, steadily consolidating its first-mover advantage and delivery leadership in the digital era.

ROBOSENSE will drive continuous product iteration through chip-level innovation, accelerate global intelligent assisted driving large-scale implementation through reliable mass production delivery, broaden autonomous driving commercialization prospects, and assist the continuous upgrade of the global mobility industry.
