On April 30, the Zhanjiang Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. was issued a warning and fined 1,751,111 yuan, with illegal gains of 2,590.10 yuan confiscated, for violating regulations in areas including financial statistics, payment and settlement, currency and precious metals, treasury operations, credit reporting, anti-money laundering, and financial technology. The penalties were disclosed in an administrative punishment decision published by the Zhanjiang branch of the People's Bank of China.
