September 9th afternoon - JD Car Care has filed a lawsuit against Tiger Auto for unfair competition, and the court has officially accepted the case, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Recently, a user claiming to be a JD.com employee posted on social media about "JD.com suing Tiger Auto for unfair competition" and shared related images. The image information showed that the unfair competition dispute case between Beijing JD 360 E-commerce Co., Ltd. and others versus Shanghai Lantu Information Technology Co., Ltd. and others was formally filed on August 26, 2025.
When contacted for verification, a relevant person in charge at JD Car Care confirmed: "There were indeed unfair competition practices that affected JD Car Care, so we filed a lawsuit with the court. We are doing this not only for JD Car Care, but also hope to protect users' legitimate rights and interests through legal means."
Previously, Tiger Auto had sued JD Car Care, claiming that the "Shock Tiger Price" promotion damaged its business reputation and demanded 5 million yuan in compensation. Subsequently, JD Car Care announced a name change and launched a public naming campaign, while also introducing a 5 billion yuan car care subsidy program. Eventually, JD Car Care announced that the new name for its subsidy activity would be "Shock Bone Price." Recently, JD Car Care's subsidy program has launched a new "Shock Bone Card."
