CGN Power (01816) announced that from January to March 2026, the total electricity generated by the nuclear power units operated by the group was approximately 54.096 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 10.10% compared to the same period last year. The total electricity supplied to the grid was approximately 50.957 billion kilowatt-hours, down 10.11% year-on-year.
During the first quarter of 2026, the group completed four annual refueling overhauls and two decennial overhauls as scheduled. In the second quarter of 2026, in addition to continuing ongoing refueling overhauls, the group plans to commence two new annual refueling overhauls and one decennial overhaul.
On February 13, 2026, the Huizhou Unit 1 achieved its first grid connection, entering the grid-connected phase. On March 12, 2026, the Cangnan Unit 1 also successfully achieved its first grid connection, entering the same phase.
As of March 31, 2026, the group managed a total of 20 nuclear power units under construction, including four units entrusted by its controlling shareholder. Among these, two units are in the grid-connected phase, two are in the commissioning phase, two are in the equipment installation phase, seven are in the civil construction phase, and seven are in the preparation phase for the first concrete pour.
