Seven Elements Investment Holdings Limited released its Environmental, Social and Governance Report for FY2025/26 (1 Apr 2025 – 31 Mar 2026), marking the group’s first disclosure fully aligned with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s updated Appendix C2 and the four-pillar framework of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.

Key highlights

• Governance upgrade – Board assumes direct responsibility for ESG strategy and climate risk, supported by an external consultant and annual capability training for directors. – Day-to-day execution delegated to management; climate considerations are now embedded in all business units.

• Climate strategy and scenario analysis – Initial climate scenario study conducted using IPCC AR6 and NGFS pathways (SSP1-2.6, SSP5-8.5, Net Zero 2050 and Current Policies). – Four material climate factors identified: acute extreme-weather risk, electrification requirements, client climate credit risk and expansion opportunities in electric generator leasing. – Short-, medium- and long-term horizons set at 2030, 2040 and 2050, matching the Hong Kong 2050 carbon-neutrality goal.

• Environmental metrics (Sanroc operations, Hong Kong) – Greenhouse-gas emissions: 70.73 tCO₂e; intensity 2.52 tCO₂e per HKD 1 million revenue. – Scope 1: 6.28 tCO₂e (vehicle fuel) – Scope 2: 26.08 tCO₂e (purchased electricity) – Scope 3 (Categories 1, 5, 6): 38.37 tCO₂e. – Energy consumption: 99.52 MWh; intensity 3.55 MWh per HKD 1 million revenue. – Water use: 744.08 m³; intensity 26.52 m³ per HKD 1 million revenue. – Non-hazardous waste: 33,920 kg; no hazardous waste generated during the period.

• Interim environmental goals – Reduce GHG emission intensity, enhance resource efficiency, expand use of energy-efficient equipment and water-saving fixtures. – Board to develop quantitative targets once data-tracking systems mature.

• Workforce and safety – Headcount: 238 (140 male, 98 female); turnover rate 53%. – 100 % of employees received training, averaging 8.47 hours each. – Zero work-related fatalities in the past three years; no lost-time injuries in the year.

• Supply-chain and business ethics – Supplier selection prioritises ISO-certified and environmentally responsible vendors; no major suppliers disclosed for the year. – No confirmed cases of bribery, fraud or corruption; all directors completed dedicated code-of-conduct training.

• Community engagement – Continued encouragement of staff volunteerism; commitment to deepen local community involvement.

Seven Elements states that future quantitative climate targets will be set after the completion of data-collection enhancements, with reference to Hong Kong’s 2050 carbon-neutrality objective.
