New York Fed's February Services Business Activity Index Drops to -25.7

According to a survey of business leaders, the New York Federal Reserve's services business activity index for its district fell to -25.7 in February, down from -16.1 the previous month. The six-month business activity index rose to 17.5, compared to 12.4 in the prior month. The business climate index dropped from -34.4 to -41.7, the employment index decreased from -5.5 to -9.7, while the wage index increased from 30 to 37.4.
