Agricultural Bank of China Leadership Visits Head of State Tobacco Monopoly Administration

On April 16, Gu Shu, Chairman and Party Secretary of Agricultural Bank of China, led a delegation to visit Yao Laiying, Party Secretary and Director of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration. Lu Jie, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, also attended the meeting.

Gu Shu provided an overview of Agricultural Bank of China's operational performance during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and highlighted its achievements in serving rural revitalization and the real economy. He noted that the two parties have maintained close cooperation in jointly promoting rural revitalization and enhancing financial services across the entire tobacco industry chain, with positive results. Going forward, Agricultural Bank of China will further improve financial services to support the modernization of tobacco agriculture and the development of a modern industrial system, thereby contributing to high-quality development.

Yao Laiying welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the long-standing and fruitful collaboration between the two institutions. He expressed hope for continued cooperation with Agricultural Bank of China by leveraging their respective strengths in areas such as rural revitalization and the development of agricultural distribution terminals, working together to advance comprehensive rural revitalization and high-quality economic growth.

Senior officials from relevant departments of Agricultural Bank of China accompanied the delegation during the visit.
