Oil prices were consolidating during the Asian morning trading session but could face pressure due to the prospect of OPEC+ increasing production. The front-month West Texas Intermediate crude futures remained flat at $62.88 per barrel, while front-month Brent crude futures held steady at $67.74 per barrel. Analysts from ANZ Research noted that media reports suggested some OPEC members believe the organization has room to resume production increases in April. These analysts pointed out that OPEC members are scheduled to meet on March 1 to discuss their supply agreement.
