The popular variety show "One Meal to Godhood" concluded last week, and Yang Yanbin, the "popular chef" who won second place on the program, has seen his first collaborative beverage sell nearly 900,000 cups since its market launch.

According to reports, this collaboration involves Yang Yanbin working with leading new tea drink brand CHABAIDAO to launch the "Xianfalo" series of beverages featuring "rich milk tea" - "Royal Xianfalo" and "Qianmu Xianfalo."

This marks not only Yang Yanbin's first collaboration following "One Meal to Godhood," but also the first cross-industry partnership between the Michelin young chef and a new tea drink brand. Consumers who have tried the products have commented, "It's like drinking a piece of light cheesecake that melts in your mouth" and "Never expected to be able to drink beverages made by a Michelin chef at CHABAIDAO."

Yang Yanbin shared with media: "From the kitchen to the tea shop, I've incorporated my understanding of desserts into this cup of tea. The specially crafted savory cheese, layered with high-quality tea base, creates rich layers with each sip. I especially recommend everyone to try this novel yet sophisticated flavor." He also shared his recommended drinking method: first taste the milk foam to experience the cheese aroma, then use a straw to stir and taste the fusion of cheese and tea base - "one sip captures the soul."

When discussing his partnership with CHABAIDAO, Yang Yanbin explained: "As a chef, I've always wanted to break the boundaries of traditional desserts and bring lighter, more layered flavors to everyone. I'm grateful for the trust from the CHABAIDAO team, which made this creative collaboration possible." Additionally, netizens have discovered more "hidden connections" between CHABAIDAO and Yang Yanbin - both are "entrepreneurial hometown fellows" who started in Chengdu, and in Yang Yanbin's hometown of Fujian, CHABAIDAO operates a tea leaf production base covering over 6,000 square meters.

According to available information, Yang Yanbin, born in 1993, is the head chef of "Fu Man Lou," a Michelin one-star restaurant in Chengdu, and received the "Chengdu Michelin Guide Young Chef Award" in 2024.
