On December 25th, JD.com employees revealed on social media that the company's 2025 year-end bonus announcement indicated a staggering 92% of the JD.com Group's workforce received full or even above-target bonuses, with the total year-end bonus pool surging over 70% year-on-year, projected to set the industry's largest increase this year. The announcement detailed that departments which upgraded their pay scales this year have successfully achieved a 19-month salary structure, while some business units have already advanced to a 20-month salary plan ahead of schedule. Furthermore, year-end bonuses for frontline employees will still be distributed before the Lunar New Year.
According to the announcement, in departments upgraded to the 19-month salary system, employees with an annual performance rating of B+ are eligible for a full year-end bonus equivalent to 7 times their monthly salary, resulting in a total annual compensation of 19 months' pay. Those with ratings of A+ and A will receive year-end bonuses of 10 months and 9 months' salary respectively. In departments that have提前实现20薪, employees rated B+ can receive a full 8-month salary as a year-end bonus, totaling 20 months' annual pay, while those with an A+ rating will directly obtain a 12-month bonus, reaching an impressive 24 months' total compensation for the year. JD.com's procurement and sales staff are set to achieve an average of 25 months' salary this year, with no upper limit.
In recent years, JD.com has consistently increased its investment in employee compensation and benefits. Regarding salaries, the company has implemented seven consecutive rounds of broad-based salary increases and incentive enhancements over the past year. On the benefits front, since entering the food delivery market this year, JD.com has become the only industry player achieving three 100% benchmarks: for frontline staff like full-time delivery riders, it ensures 100% signed labor contracts, 100% comprehensive social security and housing fund contributions, and 100% access to formal employee benefits. The company recently announced it has provided 28,000 housing units for frontline employees and plans to invest 22 billion yuan over the next five years to supply 150,000 "Courier Homes".
