Guangxi's rural revitalization efforts received a major boost as Ping An Insurance Group launched its "Three-Year Plan for Serving Guangxi's Rural Revitalization (2026-2028)" on December 15. The initiative targets five key areas: party-building collaboration, industrial support, financial assistance, livelihood improvement, and consumption aid.

During this period, Ping An will provide no less than 50 billion yuan in risk coverage for Guangxi's specialty industries, donate over 50 million yuan for industrial revitalization projects, extend at least 2 billion yuan in agricultural loans, and facilitate over 25 million yuan in consumption assistance for local agricultural products.

The announcement came during a field survey led by Ping An Group President Xie Yonglin at the Crispy Honey Kumquat planting base in Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County, where the company has been providing targeted assistance. Xie participated in harvest activities and discussed with farmers about the fruit's role in boosting local incomes.

Seventy-year-old farmer Pan, who works at the base, shared how the project enabled stable employment for elderly residents. The Crispy Honey Kumquat, once struggling with pandemic-era sales and funding issues, has become a "golden fruit" for Luocheng's economy after Ping An's intervention. The company implemented a comprehensive support model covering pre-production financing (21.25 million yuan low-interest loans for infrastructure), production-stage insurance (covering 1,562 households), and post-sales channels (generating over 20 million yuan in purchases through internal platforms).

Ping An's new three-year blueprint includes: 1) Establishing 200 rural party-building sites and 100 traffic safety education villages 2) Developing innovative agricultural insurance products while supporting industrial upgrades 3) Providing financial literacy programs through 600+ educational events 4) Implementing 300+ road safety projects and medical outreach initiatives 5) Expanding sales channels for local specialties like Crispy Honey Kumquats

The company also signed framework agreements with Luocheng county, donating 700,000 yuan for e-commerce and livelihood projects. Since 2019, Ping An's Guangxi initiatives have already benefited 1.97 million farmers with 88.9 billion yuan in agricultural risk coverage, 20 billion yuan in rural loans, and 100 million yuan in consumption assistance.

Additionally, Ping An Property & Casualty's "Traffic Light" road safety program debuted in Luocheng, installing warning devices at high-risk intersections. Nationwide, this initiative has upgraded 1,404 road sections across 275 counties.
