Appian Corp's stock soared 5.09% during intraday trading on Friday, following news of a significant settlement payment from Sibanye-Stillwater.
The mining company Sibanye-Stillwater disclosed in its FY 2025 results that it made an Appian settlement payment of US$215 million (ZAR 3.57 billion) in December 2025. This substantial cash inflow is viewed positively by investors as it strengthens Appian's financial position.
