Alibaba's AI Assistant Qwen Processes Over 130 Million Orders During Spring Festival

According to Jefferies, Alibaba secured more than 130 million product orders across various categories through its artificial intelligence application "Qwen" during the Spring Festival promotional period, indicating growing user trust in its functionality.

Analysts, including Thomas Chong, noted in a report that approximately half of the orders—including those for bubble tea, movie tickets, and daily necessities—originated from county-level markets. Around 4 million users aged 60 and above used AI to complete transactions for the first time.

The report also highlighted that Tencent's AI application "Yuanbao" reached a new user milestone, surpassing 50 million daily active users. Additionally, Yuanbao launched a red envelope campaign, accumulating over 3.6 billion lottery draws.
