Smoore International Holdings Limited (06969) saw its stock price soar 5.18% during intraday trading on Friday. The significant upward movement followed the release of the company's impressive first-quarter financial results for 2026.
The company reported unaudited revenue of RMB 3.86 billion for the three months ended March 31, 2026, representing a substantial year-on-year increase of 41.7%. Notably, revenue from heat-not-burn (HNB) products and technical services surged to RMB 664.0 million, marking an extraordinary increase of 1,324.9% compared to the same period last year, following the roll-out of premium offerings for a strategic customer in the second half of 2025.
Profitability metrics also showed strong improvement, with profit before tax reaching RMB 363.5 million (up 42.8%) and net profit rising 36.6% to RMB 262.5 million. Adjusted profit, which excludes share-based payment expenses, increased 10.7% to RMB 347.0 million. The company's self-branded operations contributed RMB 588.6 million in revenue, up 12.6%, supported by continued market share gains for Smoore's electronic vaping lines.
