BYD's Equation Leopard automotive brand has released official interior images of the Equation Leopard Titanium 7, which has already completed production and is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter.
The Equation Leopard Titanium 7 offers three interior color schemes: Snow Grey, Eclipse Blue, and Twilight Orange. The dashboard layout is clean and intuitive, featuring a full LCD instrument cluster and floating center console screen. Silver decorative elements have been added around the central air conditioning vents, and practical storage space is provided in front of the passenger seat.
The Equation Leopard Titanium 7 is equipped with a four-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and column-mounted gear selector. The secondary dashboard adopts a bridge-style design, providing physical buttons/switches, dual wireless phone charging panels with ventilation, cup holders, and other amenities. The central armrest box features a built-in vehicle cooling and heating refrigerator, while additional storage space is available beneath the secondary dashboard, complete with 12-volt power outlets and USB Type-C phone ports.
For seating, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 adopts a 2+3 five-seat configuration with leather-wrapped seats featuring perforated craftsmanship in body contact areas, expected to support ventilation and heating functions. All four main seats are equipped with headrests, and the passenger seat supports large-angle reclining with an expected zero-gravity passenger seat feature. The rear seats support 4/6 split folding, creating a nearly flat space with the trunk for a capacity of up to 1,880 liters, showcasing the excellent spatial performance expected of a "box-shaped" SUV design.
Additionally, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 features a panoramic sunroof, B-pillar hooks, clean door panel interior design, conventional door handles, and ambient lighting. The vehicle is equipped with 4 sky speakers, while the trunk includes hooks, 12-volt power supply, and 220-volt power supply.
In terms of technology configuration, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 will debut BYD's new-generation intelligent ecosystem, supporting external connection with BYD's fully self-developed tablet computer and enabling connectivity with accessories such as Goodbaby intelligent pet/child safety seats, Breo intelligent neck and shoulder massagers/cooling and heating eye massagers, and Insta360 X5 panoramic cameras.
Regarding exterior design, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 continues the family design language with an overall square and robust appearance. The headlight clusters are surrounded by double-layer light strips, with the upper layer serving as daytime running lights and the lower layer expected to function as turn signals. The front center features a glossy black decorative panel with an illuminated Equation Leopard brand logo, while the front bumper includes "H"-shaped silver decorative elements with fog lights positioned on both sides.
For the side profile, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 features recessed treatment with body-colored wheel arches, square exterior mirrors, fixed side steps, and conventional door handles. The rear windows feature privacy glass, and the D-pillar area includes body-colored trim panels with black accent strips and Equation Leopard brand identification.
At the rear, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 adopts double-layer tail light clusters and features an external storage box with a side-opening tailgate design. The vehicle offers options of 19-inch dual-tone semi-closed wheels or 20-inch black multi-spoke wheels.
In terms of dimensions, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 measures 4,999mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,865mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920mm. In comparison, the Li Auto L6 measures 4,925mm×1,960mm×1,735mm with a 2,920mm wheelbase, while the AITO M7 measures 5,020mm×1,945mm×1,760mm with a 2,820mm wheelbase.
For powertrain, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 will be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, offering both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions. The 1.5T engine delivers maximum power of 115kW, with the two-wheel drive version featuring a single motor producing 200kW maximum power. The four-wheel drive version includes front and rear dual motors with maximum power outputs of 160kW and 200kW respectively.
Regarding driver assistance systems, high-specification Equation Leopard Titanium 7 models will feature LiDAR, with tri-camera setup behind the windshield, equipped with the Eye of Heaven B laser-assisted driving system supporting highway/urban navigation assistance and parking assistance functions. High-specification models can also be optionally equipped with the Lingyuan BYD intelligent vehicle-mounted drone system, with an expected optional price of 16,968 yuan. Lower-specification models do not include LiDAR and are equipped with the Eye of Heaven C tri-camera driver assistance system.
According to filing information, the Equation Leopard Titanium 7 will offer battery packs in two specifications: 26.593kWh and 35.624kWh, with three pure electric range versions (specific testing standards not yet announced). The 100km and 105km range versions are equipped with 26.593kWh power batteries, while the 130km range version features the larger capacity battery pack.
