Amid the warm May breeze, the spirit of fraternity is passed on. The integrated B-Ai Block, an innovative creation by Huishan District, stands as a new model for grassroots public welfare services. This year, the district is centering its efforts on the Wanda B-Ai Commercial Zone and the Huicheng No. 1 Community B-Ai Home. These core sites are organically linked with various facilities including smart blood donation cabins, B-Ai service stations, the Xinguang Station for new employment groups (also a Red Cross volunteer service base), and B-Ai material donation points. This integrated approach overcomes the previous fragmentation of scattered service sites and disconnected functions, enabling the efficient circulation and connectivity of Red Cross humanitarian resources within the block.
Relevant officials stated that this integrated construction model is far more than a simple spatial connection; it represents a breakthrough in grassroots public welfare service mechanisms. It deeply integrates voluntary blood donation, public convenience services, care for new employment groups, charitable material donations, and community B-Ai development. At the launch event, the B-Ai Service Station officially commenced operations. It will regularly provide warm services such as "Three Donations" (blood, hematopoietic stem cells, organ/human tissue) promotion, emergency rescue, health education, and volunteer assistance, offering the public comprehensive, zero-distance humanitarian services. Medical and philanthropic resources are also converging on the block. Huishan District People's Hospital donated 15 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on-site. These life-saving devices will be deployed to key locations including communities, B-Ai Homes, and commercial zones, using professional emergency equipment to safeguard public health and safety.
During a practical demonstration of emergency rescue skills, members of the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Rescue Team performed live demonstrations on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the proper use of AEDs. Their vivid and intuitive instruction encouraged attendees to proactively learn first aid knowledge, fostering a positive social atmosphere of "everyone learning, everyone capable, everyone willing to perform first aid."

With the launch ceremony, the Huishan District B-Ai Community Construction Project is now fully underway. It is reported that, to date, 13 B-Ai Homes have been established across the district. In 2026, Huishan District will advance the construction of two new B-Ai Homes in Huicheng No. 1 Community, Chang'an Subdistrict, and Yangshan Village, Yangshan Town, to high standards. Simultaneously, it will promote the renewal and upgrade of three existing B-Ai Communities: Xuguigiao Community in Luoshe Town, Qingshan Lancheng Community in Qianqiao Subdistrict, and Qianqiao Community.
