Seven enterprises from Nanhu District have been included in the 2025 list of Future Factories, Smart Factories, and Digital Workshops in Zhejiang Province, as announced by the provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology. The selected companies span multiple sectors, including optoelectronic manufacturing, stainless steel pipe production, and intelligent logistics equipment, showcasing the district's dynamic push toward digital transformation in manufacturing.

Jiaxing Jiaxibela Compressor Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Chint Cable Co., Ltd., both leaders in their respective fields, were named among the 2025 Zhejiang Smart Factories. At Jiaxibela, robotic workstations precisely assemble compressors while machine vision systems capture real-time product data. Chint Cable employs online inspection equipment to monitor insulation thickness, with data instantly uploaded to a cloud platform. Despite differing approaches, both exemplify the integration of digital technology in manufacturing.

Jiaxibela focuses on "smart equipment + digital platforms," achieving 90% automation in key processes. Green manufacturing upgrades have reduced energy consumption per unit product by 18% and lowered the defect rate to below 0.3%. Chint Cable has built a comprehensive digital system, with 85% of equipment digitally controlled. Deep integration of ERP and MES systems enables automatic production scheduling and dynamic process optimization, maintaining a product qualification rate above 99.8%.

Five additional Nanhu District companies were selected for the 2025 Zhejiang Digital Workshop list: Jiaxing Mersi Smart Home Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Dewei Stainless Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Galaxis Technology Group Co., Ltd., Taikang Electronics Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Baisheng Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.

Baisheng Optoelectronics, a global leader in blue glass filter production and a nationally recognized "little giant" enterprise, has established a digital management system integrating ERP, MES, and WMS. This supports digital design, smart production, green manufacturing, and lean management. Surface roughness of glass products is stabilized at the 10-nanometer level, while energy consumption in cold processing is reduced by over 40% compared to international high-temperature methods. Per capita productivity has increased by 67%, and product development cycles have shortened by 33%.

Dewei Stainless Steel, another national "little giant," produces industrial stainless steel welded pipes and fittings for petroleum, chemical, and nuclear power sectors. By building a provincial industrial internet platform and integrating digital twin and big data technologies, the company has achieved full traceability from raw materials to finished products, with 100% connectivity in key processes. This has boosted production efficiency by 40.8%, cut labor costs by 76.9%, and improved energy utilization by 35.38%, enabling import substitution and expanded domestic market share.

Galaxis Technology, one of the few global firms mastering full-stack smart intra-logistics robotics, operates a digital workshop centered on an ERP system integrated with PLM, MES, and WMS. The facility includes automated storage, online inspection systems, and industrial robots, forming an intelligent logistics hub. Its network covers 30,000 square meters of shelving with roaming handover times under 100ms. The workshop can produce 2,400 high-end logistics units annually, reducing the defect rate to 0.2%, improving energy efficiency by 40%, and raising per capita productivity by 59%. Its smart dispatch system is used by leading firms such as SF Express, BYD, and FAW-Volkswagen.

Taikang Electronics and Mersi Smart Home also leverage digital production capabilities to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

These companies deeply integrate IoT, big data, and AI into full-process digital management systems, supported by robust organizational, technical, and quality standards. The result is higher efficiency, lower costs, and improved quality.

According to the district's economic and information authority, these "Nanhu stars" not only strengthen their own market competitiveness through digital transformation but also provide replicable models for other enterprises. Local firms are encouraged to learn from these examples to accelerate innovation and contribute to the high-quality development of Nanhu's smart manufacturing industrial cluster.
