Tech Giants Slide in Premarket Trading as Futures Decline

The "Magnificent Seven" U.S. tech stocks fell across the board in Monday's premarket session, tracking broad declines in major index futures.

Apple dropped 0.5%, Microsoft declined 0.6%, Meta Platforms slid 1.1%, Amazon.com dipped 0.7%, Tesla Motors tumbled 1.1%, NVIDIA retreated 0.7%, and Alphabet shed 0.6%.

As of 5:50 a.m. New York time, Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.6%, while S&P 500 futures fell 0.5%.

Bitcoin plunged 5% to approximately $86,650, signaling weakening risk appetite.

Traders also positioned for key economic data releases this week, including the ISM Manufacturing Index (Monday), ISM Services Index (Wednesday), and September's PCE Price Index (Friday).
