The Hong Kong stock market welcomes a new contender in the AI hardware and technology space with RECONOVA (07656), often referred to as the first "visual embodied intelligence" stock, commencing its public offering today, June 29th.

The company plans a global offering of 28,087,000 H shares, with 5% allocated to the Hong Kong public offering and 95% to the international offering.

The offer price is set at HK$21.66 per share, with a board lot of 200 shares, making the minimum subscription amount approximately HK$4,375.69.

The listing is expected to raise around HK$608 million, with trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange anticipated to begin on July 8th.

Haitong International, CCB International, and ABC International are acting as joint sponsors for the offering.

Company Profile and Market Position

RECONOVA is an enterprise-level AI company with a core focus on visual intelligence, holding an 8.7% market share in China's civil aviation visual intelligence products sector.

Distinguishing itself from traditional AI vision companies, RECONOVA has been evolving towards embodied intelligence.

Over the past two years, the company's core technology has extended into the field of embodied intelligence, which integrates visual reasoning with execution, providing commercial robots with autonomous capabilities for enterprise settings like airports, logistics, and factories.

In September of last year, the company launched its "Xiaoyi" series of airport baggage transfer robots, with commercial deployment targeted for 2026.

Financial Performance and Growth Trajectory

Financial data indicates that RECONOVA is in a critical phase of transitioning from investment to harvest.

From 2023 to 2025, the company's revenue grew from RMB 242 million to RMB 443 million, achieving a compound annual growth rate of 35.2%, demonstrating strong growth momentum.

Market Context and Prospects

Within the Hong Kong market, new AI and hard-tech listings have been performing strongly, with scarce offerings in specific niches attracting significant investor interest.

Recent examples include physical AI and enterprise decision AI firms, whose Hong Kong public offerings saw massive oversubscription multiples and post-listing gains exceeding 200%, underscoring high market recognition for AI companies with tangible, real-world applications.

RECONOVA represents a rare listing in Hong Kong that integrates visual algorithms with the commercial deployment of robots, giving it a significant first-mover advantage in the vast embodied intelligence sector.

The company is well-positioned to potentially continue the strong performance trend of recent AI IPOs in Hong Kong, opening up long-term valuation potential.
