On August 18, according to the official WeChat account "JD Logistics Blackboard," JD Logistics officially released its 2025 seafood security plan. On one hand, the company is deploying couriers to main production areas for nearby pickup and increasing investment in air transport capacity, enabling seafood to reach core city dining tables within 24 hours through direct shipment from production areas. On the other hand, JD Logistics is strengthening its cold chain warehouse and distribution services, leveraging its nationwide cold chain warehouse and distribution network to provide end-to-end, multi-channel, and multi-scenario cold chain logistics services for seafood merchants, helping seafood and aquatic product industry merchants reduce costs and improve efficiency.
According to the introduction, JD Logistics operates approximately 100 temperature-controlled cold chain warehouses for fresh, frozen, and refrigerated foods, with delivery coverage spanning over 300 cities nationwide. Through JD Logistics' product matrix including fresh commercial warehouses, cold chain express delivery, cold chain scheduled services, and cold chain full truckload services, seafood and aquatic product merchants can obtain end-to-end, multi-channel, and multi-scenario logistics services. Whether delivering from factories to supermarkets, convenience stores, catering group channels, or large warehouses, or direct delivery from factories to stores, JD Logistics can provide multi-frequency, small-batch delivery requirements. For online channels, through JD Logistics' cold chain warehouse and distribution network, merchants can also achieve unified inventory management across all fresh e-commerce platforms.
