Xiaomi's Lu Weibing Unveils Three Major Announcements at Global Product Launch

On the evening of February 28, the global launch event for the Xiaomi 17 Series took place in Barcelona, Spain. Lu Weibing, Partner, President of Xiaomi Group, and President of the Mobile Phone Division, announced that as Xiaomi's first global event of 2026, it would feature three significant surprises.

He revealed that the first surprise involves opening a new chapter in the collaboration with Leica. The second centers on new energy vehicles, where Xiaomi has partnered with Gran Turismo, allowing users to drive the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in the game.

Lastly, Lu Weibing stated that in two days, Xiaomi will also appear at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), where the public can witness the real-world implementation of Xiaomi's "Human x Car x Home" ecosystem and its artificial intelligence technologies.
