China Resources Beer's Sichuan Marketing Center Reportedly Plans to Halt Supply of Yongchuang and Chunsheng Product Lines to JD.com and Tmall

Recently, a notice from CHINA RES BEER's Sichuan marketing center regarding the comprehensive suspension of Yongchuang and Chunsheng product lines on instant retail platforms has been circulating online. The notice indicates that to address market disruptions caused by price wars in the instant retail industry and to firmly protect the company's product market value and core brand competitiveness, the marketing center plans to completely cease sales of Yongchuang and Chunsheng series products on instant retail platforms.

The notice states that recently, JD.com and Tmall have successively entered the instant retail sector, triggering fierce price competition among platforms including Meituan Shanggou, JD Miaosong, and Tmall Shanggou, with the competition intensifying to a white-hot stage in August.

Against this backdrop, CHINA RES BEER products (particularly the "Yongchuang" series) have repeatedly experienced pricing that breached red line standards. According to monitoring data, the price-breaking rate for Yongchuang products has continuously climbed, with consumer final prices on some platforms dropping below 30 yuan per case. This phenomenon not only disrupts the normal market pricing system but has also been exploited by unscrupulous dealers who resell products for profit, creating harmful supply chains that negatively impact the marketing center's healthy online business operations and potentially threaten the stability of the broader offline market.

The notice requires that all Yongchuang and Chunsheng series products be removed from online channels by August 31st, with inventory from warehouses and stores on pure online sales platforms to be recalled.

When contacted for comment regarding this matter, CHINA RES BEER has not yet provided a response.
