US-listed shares of NIO fell another 2% in overnight trading after dropping 5.7% on Thursday. NIO announced plans to issue new shares to raise funds after it flagged possible financial stress in its fourth-quarter earnings report.

The electric vehicle (EV) maker announced that it plans to issue up to 118,793,300 class A ordinary shares in offshore transactions outside the US to non-US persons.

The company currently plans to use the net proceeds from the equity placement for research and development of EV technology and new products, further strengthening of the balance sheet and general corporate purposes, NIO said in an announcement. NIO cannot guarantee that the share placement will be completed, the company noted.

Lululemon shares were 10% lower at $306.30 in overnight trading. Lululemon Athletica's fourth-quarter earnings were higher than anticipated, but management's financial guidance for the year fell short of expectations.

The activewear company reported earnings of $6.14 a share for the quarter ended Feb. 2. Analysts expected $5.85 a share, according to FactSet.

Revenue rose 13% to $3.6 billion, in line with projections for $3.58 billion. For the full year ending next January, Lululemon expects net revenue to range from $11.15 billion to $11.3 billion, representing growth of 5% to 7%. Analysts had been projecting a revenue increase of 7% to $11.3 billion.

U.S. Steel stock rose 7% in overnight trading. Nippon Steel and U.S. Steel are in active talks about a deal that would offer $55 per share to U.S. Steel, Semafor reporter Rohan Goswami said in a post on X.

KULR rose 13% in overnight trading. KULR Technology reported quarterly GAAP losses of two cents per share, in line with the analyst consensus estimate. Quarterly revenue clocked in at $3.37 million, which beat the consensus estimate of $2.9 million.

Gross margin was 64% in the fourth quarter, compared to 29% in the same quarterly period of the prior year.

The company reported cash balances of $29,831,858 as of Dec. 31, 2024, compared to $1,194,764 at the end of 2023. In addition, KULR had $20,281,184 of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) holdings as of Dec. 31, 2024, compared to none at the end of 2023.

Braze shares rose 12% in overnight trading to $40.98. Braze said sales rose and its loss narrowed in the fourth quarter, fueled by new business wins, contract renewals and upselling to existing clients.

Shares of Rocket Lab USA rose 11% in overnight trading. The U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command said on Thursday it had awarded contracts to Rocket Lab USA RKLB.O and Stoke Space to expand its portfolio of launch systems for critical space capability.
