CHINA CHUNLAI (01969) surged over 20% in afternoon trading. As of press time, the stock was up 15.67% to HK$5.02, with trading volume reaching HK$161 million.

On the news front, the Nanjing campus of Suzhou University of Science and Technology Tianping College, under CHINA CHUNLAI, has officially commenced operations. The first batch of over 1,300 freshmen enrolled on September 13th. The newly launched Nanjing campus is located in Gaochun District, Nanjing. When fully operational, the campus can accommodate at least 16,000 students, significantly enhancing the company's enrollment capacity and regional market penetration.

According to public information, the company is one of the leading providers of private higher education in China. The company's schools are primarily located in Central China, operating 4 schools in Henan Province and 2 schools in Hubei Province. The company also participates in operating Tianping College.

Additionally, there has been concrete progress recently in Hunan's private higher education sector transitioning to for-profit status. Institutions suggest that the progress of private higher education institutions selecting their operational models across various regions is expected to advance.
