YIHAI INTL (01579) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group recorded revenue of RMB 2.927 billion (all amounts in RMB) during the period, representing a year-on-year increase of 0.02%. Profit attributable to owners of the company reached RMB 309 million, up 0.39% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at 31.9 cents.
Revenue from hot pot seasoning products decreased by 3.7% from RMB 1.748 billion in the six months ended June 30, 2024, to RMB 1.683 billion in the corresponding period of 2025, accounting for 57.5% of total revenue during the period. Sales of hot pot seasoning products to related parties declined by 14.6% year-on-year, primarily due to reduced sales volume to related party customers. However, sales of hot pot seasoning products to third parties grew by 7.5% year-on-year, mainly driven by the launch of new beef tallow hot pot base products and new flavored hot pot dipping sauce products tailored to consumption scenarios and consumer demands.
Revenue from compound seasoning products increased by 8.2% from RMB 454 million in the six months ended June 30, 2024, to RMB 492 million in the corresponding period of 2025, representing 16.8% of total revenue during the period. Sales of compound seasonings to related parties surged by 69.8%, primarily due to increased demand from related parties for new spicy soup seasoning and spicy hot pot seasoning products. Sales of compound seasonings to third parties grew by 4.7% year-on-year, mainly attributable to increased demand from B2B customers.
Revenue from convenient food products rose by 1.2% from RMB 700 million in the six months ended June 30, 2024, to RMB 709 million in the corresponding period of 2025, accounting for 24.2% of total revenue during the period. Sales of convenient food products to related parties decreased by 17.0%, primarily due to reduced demand from related parties for marinated food products. Sales of convenient food products to third parties increased by 3.5% year-on-year, mainly driven by the addition of new products in the "Cook at Home" series.
