Shares of OSI Systems Inc (OSIS) are soaring 10% in pre-market trading on Thursday following the release of its fiscal 2025 third-quarter financial results that exceeded analyst expectations and an upward revision of its full-year guidance.
The security, healthcare, and optoelectronics manufacturer reported Q3 revenue of $444.4 million, surpassing the FactSet consensus estimate of $436.5 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $2.44, beating the expected $2.40. The company's performance was driven by strong growth across all its divisions, with the Security division leading the way with a 10% year-over-year increase in revenues.
In light of the robust quarterly performance, OSI Systems raised its fiscal 2025 guidance. The company now expects full-year revenues in the range of $1.690 billion to $1.715 billion, up from the previous forecast of $1.685 billion to $1.710 billion. Additionally, the non-GAAP diluted earnings per share guidance was increased to $9.15 - $9.45, compared to the earlier projection of $9.10 - $9.40. This outlook represents a year-over-year growth of 9.8% - 11.5% in revenues and 12.5% - 16.2% in adjusted earnings per share, signaling strong confidence in the company's continued growth trajectory.
