OSI Systems Inc. (OSIS) stock surged 5.32% in the pre-market trading session on Thursday, January 23, 2025, following the company's impressive second-quarter fiscal 2025 financial results and an upward revision to its full-year guidance.

The electronic systems and components provider reported Q2 FY2025 revenue of $419.8 million, exceeding analysts' expectations of $406.6 million. The company's non-GAAP earnings per diluted share for the quarter stood at $2.42, outperforming the consensus estimate of $2.33.

With a record backlog and a healthy pipeline of opportunities, the company is well-positioned for continued growth in the coming quarters.
