CHI SCI&EDU IND (01756) has announced that based on a preliminary review of the unaudited consolidated management accounts for the six months ended February 28, 2026, and information currently available, profit attributable to shareholders is expected to decrease by 60% to 70% compared to the approximately RMB 234 million recorded for the six months ended February 28, 2025. This decrease is primarily due to increased operating expenses during the reporting period. The increase in expenses mainly stems from the group's continued efforts to promote the development of applied universities and the implementation of relevant policy requirements, leading to higher daily teaching and operational costs.
