TIANNENG POWER (00819) Reports Interim Results with Shareholders' Profit of RMB 820 Million, Down 11.68% Year-on-Year

TIANNENG POWER (00819) announced its interim results for 2025, reporting revenue of RMB 24.192 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 51.53%. Shareholders' attributable profit reached RMB 820 million, declining 11.68% compared to the same period last year, with basic earnings per share of 72.8 cents.

According to the announcement, high-end eco-friendly batteries represent the Group's sealed maintenance-free lead-acid batteries developed through R&D and process innovation, encompassing eco-friendly mobility power batteries, backup power sources, automotive batteries, and electric specialty industrial power batteries. During the reporting period, the Group's high-end eco-friendly battery business generated approximately RMB 18.292 billion in operating revenue.

Eco-friendly mobility power batteries serve as one of the Group's key lead-acid battery products, widely applied in electric light vehicles and other sectors, constituting a significant revenue source for the Group. Through comprehensive coverage of intelligent manufacturing systems across all production bases and equipment technology upgrades, the Group has effectively enhanced manufacturing efficiency and supply chain assurance capabilities, with cost control measures showing gradual results and sustained strengthening of product cost competitiveness.

During the reporting period, the Group comprehensively advanced intelligent factory construction at production bases located in Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province, Henan Province, and other regions, deeply integrating 5G, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence technologies to achieve comprehensive digital and intelligent upgrades across all processes. Leveraging its self-developed intelligent manufacturing cloud platform and multi-scenario intelligent solutions, the Group has established and exported industry-leading intelligent factory standard systems. Notably, the production base in Puyang City, Henan Province, successfully obtained national-level "5G Factory" certification, demonstrating significant competitive advantages.

From a market perspective, the Group leveraged its industry-leading brand advantages to consolidate product leadership and drive service system upgrades centered on user value, deeply integrating traditional distribution networks with innovative digital ecosystems. As of the end of the reporting period, the Group operated over 3,000 distributors covering more than 400,000 retail outlets, serving hundreds of millions of electric light vehicle users.

In marketing model innovation, the Group pioneered industry-wide construction of integrated online and offline user service platforms, connecting maintenance, repair, testing, and evaluation service scenarios. Through digital empowerment of marketing activities, the Group assists partners in refined operations, successfully creating efficient value chains that achieve effective coordination among product, sales, and service segments, significantly enhancing channel efficiency and market competitiveness.

Regarding global expansion, the Group actively embraces rapid growth opportunities in global energy markets, accelerating the construction of an international business network covering Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, and other regions. During the reporting period, overseas business demonstrated breakthrough growth with continuously positive market feedback. The Vietnam base construction progresses orderly, establishing foundations for regional development; targeted development of localized products meets differentiated demands; focused construction of localized channels and operational teams; simultaneous advancement of the "services going global" strategy systematically builds localized service standard systems, optimizing global supply chains and unleashing growth momentum.
