MEILAN AIRPORT (00357) announced its interim results for 2025, reporting total revenue of approximately RMB 1.079 billion, down 6.09% year-on-year. The net loss attributable to parent company shareholders was approximately RMB 70.2024 million, narrowing by 71.7% year-on-year, with basic loss per share of RMB 0.15.
According to the announcement, the reduction in net loss was primarily due to provisions made for arbitration case compensation during the same period in 2024. Excluding the impact of the arbitration case, the Group's net loss for the first half of 2025 increased by RMB 78.555 million compared to the same period last year.
The main reasons for this increase were twofold: First, MEILAN AIRPORT's operational indicators declined, with aircraft movements and passenger throughput falling by 3.43% and 4.05% year-on-year respectively, resulting in a decrease of RMB 28.0334 million in aviation revenue year-on-year. Second, non-aviation revenue decreased by RMB 41.9809 million year-on-year, affected by factors including declining passenger consumption willingness.
