GUANGSHEN RAIL (00525) announced that Guangshen Railway Company Limited has received written notification from its controlling shareholder China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd., which holds approximately 37.12% of the company's issued share capital, proposing to recommend Ms. Zhong Ning to serve as a non-executive director of the company's 10th Board of Directors. The Board Nomination Committee has reviewed the above recommendation and submitted its proposal to the Board. Based on the nomination recommendation from the Board Nomination Committee, the Board has resolved to propose the appointment of Ms. Zhong as a non-executive director of the 10th Board of Directors.
