The results of the "2025 Cultural Tourism Economy Research Initiative," jointly launched by the Beijing Jinghe Cultural Tourism Development Institute and Xinhua Net, have been officially announced. Recommended by Xinggu Subdistrict in Pinggu District, Beijing, and selected through multiple rounds of expert review, the *Tungsten Creative Factory* project—developed by Tungsten Bang (Beijing) Technology Services Co., Ltd.—has been recognized as an "Annual Innovation Case in Cultural Tourism Economy" at the 2025 Young and Mid-Career Scholars' Symposium.
**Industrial Heritage Revitalized as Urban Renewal Benchmark** Located at the northeast corner of Pinggu’s Yingbin Roundabout, the Tungsten Creative Factory was originally the "Dafa Freezing Plant" from the 1980s. With an investment of over 15 million yuan, the project underwent adaptive reuse, preserving industrial heritage while integrating cultural creativity, tech experiences, and nighttime economy. It now serves as a mixed-use hub for startup incubation, creative markets, light art installations, and leisure consumption.
**Nighttime Economy Drives Regional Consumption** The park pioneered the *Tungsten Bang Night Economy* brand, featuring laser shows, rooftop markets, and trunk night markets. This dual-day-and-night operation model attracts over 10,000 daily visitors, establishing itself as Pinggu’s new cultural and commercial hotspot after dark.
**Startup Ecosystem Supports Full-Cycle Growth** Adopting a "space + content + services" incubation approach, the park has attracted 97 businesses as of August 2025, creating 550 direct jobs and indirectly supporting 3,000+ employment opportunities, with an 85% startup success rate.
**Tech Innovation Fuels Rural-Industrial Synergy** In collaboration with China Agricultural University, the park co-established the *Zhongnong Smart Agri-Tech Hub* to advance intelligent farming equipment R&D. It also commercialized *FreshGuard* preservation technology, extending produce shelf life by 40%–100%, and facilitated exports of Pinggu peaches to Singapore and Ghana, earning coverage on *CCTV News*.
Moving forward, the Tungsten Creative Factory aims to refine its "industrial heritage + culture + tech + nighttime economy" model, offering replicable best practices for urban renewal and cultural-tourism integration while boosting regional vibrancy and industrial cohesion.
