Japanese Refiners Secure Approximately 8 Million Barrels of U.S. Crude for May Loading

According to informed traders, Japanese refiners have collectively purchased around 8 million barrels of U.S. crude oil. The shipments are scheduled for loading in May and are expected to arrive in Japan by July. The procured crude varieties include West Texas Intermediate (WTI), light crude oil, and Mars crude. The buyers involved in the purchase are Taiyo Oil, ENEOS, Cosmo Oil, and Idemitsu Kosan. It is noted that the monthly trading cycle for U.S. seaborne crude oil exports with May loading commenced several days ago.
