China Everbright Environment Group Limited (EB ENVIRONMENT) will implement board changes effective 21 March 2026. Independent Non-executive Director (INED) Prof. Zhang Xiang, JP will resign to focus on other commitments, simultaneously relinquishing his roles on the Nomination, Remuneration and Sustainability Committees.

The Board, following Nomination Committee recommendations, will appoint Mr. Fok Kai Man as an INED and as a member of the Audit, Nomination, Remuneration and Sustainability Committees. Mr. Fok, aged 38, is Vice President of Henry Fok Estates Limited and Director of Fok Ying Tung Foundation Limited, bringing more than 16 years of experience across property development, corporate operations and finance. His external public service includes positions in the China Overseas Friendship Association and the All-China Youth Federation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Durham, UK.

Under an appointment letter covering the period from 21 March 2026 until the conclusion of the 2028 Annual General Meeting, Mr. Fok will receive a director’s fee of HK$0.48 million per annum. He currently holds no shares in the company and has no disclosed relationships with existing directors, senior management or major shareholders.

Board composition following the changes will remain at seven members: two Executive Directors (Mr. Wang Silian and Mr. Luan Zusheng), two Non-executive Directors (Mr. Kang Guoming and Ms. Qu Li) and three INEDs (Mr. Fan Yan Hok, Philip; Ms. Li Shuk Yin, Edwina; and Mr. Fok Kai Man).
