On February 6, users reported server lag issues during Alibaba's Qwen app 3 billion red packet giveaway event. Some users encountered a "This activity is too popular, please try again later" message when accessing the sharing page.

When approached for comment, Alibaba had not responded by the time of publication.

The "Spring Festival Treats Plan" for Alibaba's Qwen app launched today. According to an official announcement, the first round of the freebie campaign offers milk tea. Users simply need to update the Qwen app to the latest version to receive a 25-yuan free drink card, redeemable at over 300,000 milk tea shops nationwide, including brands like Heytea, Nayuki, Luckin Coffee, Yi Dian Dian, and Gu Ming.

This 3 billion yuan Spring Festival campaign represents the largest investment in Alibaba's history of Lunar New Year activities and is also the highest amount spent among major tech companies in this year's AI competition during the holiday season.
